During this Lenten Season [March 4th to April 1st] everyone is invited to attend 5 sessions on “Relationships”. Each session will last one hour and will be held at 3359 Hwy 118 East.
We have our beginnings in relationships. There is no point at which we are unrelated to those around us. The Bible not only affirms that from beginning to end, but presents story after story of encounter and learning of what follows. Relationships are soured as often as they are blessed: human connectedness, and disconnectedness, is to be worked at.
We are all in relationships and we ought to be in relationships. Life does not stand still, and the paths we choose to follow may bring blessing or curse. How we conduct ourselves toward others is obviously an arena of our influence. It makes a great deal of difference how we respond to those around us.

From time to time we are asked to pray for people who are going through difficult times. We need to do everything we can to show people that we care. I encourage you to let me know well in advance of Sunday of any such requests. I, in turn, will pass the information on to the person who is leading worship. There may be times when the individuals concerned may not wish to be named. We will honor that. You may email me at email@example.com or reach me by telephone 705 645 9311.
Remember daylight saving time starts on March 8th.

A PRAYER BY ROBERT RAINES
I can’t face the person I have let down.
I hide behind small talk, or big talk;
I cover up my shame with jokes or silence.
I can’t face myself.
I can’t face you, lord.
But you forgave Peter when he let you down.
You appeared to him first when you rose from the dead.
You accomplished great things through him.
I take heart, Lord.
